Who we are...

Greater Belleair Young Women's Society is a non-profit social organization whose primary purpose is to promote friendship. The club was created in 1979 by a small group of young mothers wanting to meet and get to know other women with similar interests. In addition to meetings, activities, and events held throughout the year, an emphasis to support various local community services in the geographical area has caused the club to grow into an established women's organization in the greater Belleair, FL area. Through the years, members have come to refer fondly and more casually to their society name as simply GBYWS or GBY.  Membership eligibility is limited to residents residing in Belleair, Belleair Bluffs, Belleair Beach, Belleair Shore, Harbor Oaks, Harbor Bluffs, Harbor Hills, The Bluffs, Carlton Estates, Randolph Farms, Sand Key, Island Estates, or Kensington Oaks who are at least 21 years of age and interested in meeting and making new friends. Ladies residing outside of these areas must be sponsored by a current member.  We welcome new members from September through May of our society year to experience more of the fun and interesting activities this group has to offer.
